Noob Experiment Warzone Shop Unlock Order

Why the expensive portrait is grey, and how the skip-every-two rule works.

Shop Unlock Order

The shop is where Noob Experiment Warzone turns Screws into characters. New players think it is broken because the last portrait will not buy. It is not broken. Units unlock in order, and you may skip every two characters to reach a higher tier. You cannot skip from starter Noob to the final Guest in one click. This page is the rule, the implied sequence, and the way to spend without rage.

Sibling pages: Noob Faction and Guest Faction. Tooling: Screw planner.

The rule in plain language

Imagine the shop as a line. You own slot 1 (Noob). You can buy slot 2. You can skip slot 2 and 3 to try for slot 4, depending on how the live UI counts the gap. Community code articles describe it as skipping every two characters rather than leaping to the top. If a portrait is still locked after you skip two, you have not earned that far. Farm more. Do not assume a script will unlock it.

Because Trello does not list Screw prices, this wiki will not print a fake cost table. You will type your own totals into the planner.

Implied sequence

  1. Noob (owned)
  2. Large Noob
  3. Tuxedo Noob
  4. Upgraded Large Noob
  5. Scientist Roundy
  6. Despacito Spider
  7. Dual Blaster Large Noob
  8. Noob Mech
  9. Guest
  10. Large Guest
  11. Guest Helicopter

If the live shop inserts a new Update 2 unit, the numbers shift. Check the Roblox description and patch notes after a title change.

  • First 50 to 100 Screws: Large Noob, or a legal skip to Upgraded Large Noob.
  • First compensation code: aim at Dual Blaster Large Noob if the skip is open.
  • After Noob Faction feels done: Guest, then toward Guest Helicopter.
  • Never: skip twice into a unit you have not tried in Sandbox.

The character tier list is the opinion layer. This page is the law layer. Law first.

Intermission shop versus lobby shop

Trello and update notes mention an intermission shop and later intermission updates. Treat anything you can buy between waves as part of the same Screw wallet. Do not spend mid-run on a kit you cannot drive on wave 17. Buy after a clear, test in Sandbox, then enter the next Easy Mode.

When the shop blocks you

You are looking at a portrait more than two skips away. The fix is how to get Screws, not a third-party tool. If a public list says a code gives 750 Screws, redeem it, then look at the line again. If the portrait is still grey, you now know how long the line is.

If the shop UI uses a different visual than a simple line, believe the grey portraits. Community articles describe the rule in words. The client is the referee. A portrait that stays grey after two skips is farther than you think, or the live build counts gaps differently. Write that observation next to the skip target in the planner.

Do not spend a 1.5X window staring at the shop. Farm the window, then shop. Do not shop in a 10-player public intermission while a Giant is spawning. The intermission shop is for people who already know the next legal buy.

A useful habit: screenshot the shop before and after a compensation code. You will see which portraits flipped. That screenshot is better evidence than a blog table.

Shop unlock order is the hidden tutorial. Once you can explain skip-every-two to a friend, the rest of the wiki becomes optional reading instead of emergency reading.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for the current Roblox build.

Why can I not buy the last character?

The shop unlocks in order. You may skip every two characters, not the entire list.

Are Screw prices listed anywhere official?

Not on the public Trello cards. Track your own totals in the Screw planner.

Should I buy during intermission?

Prefer buying after a clear and testing in Sandbox so a new kit does not debut mid-finale.

Do codes bypass the shop order?

No. Codes add Screws. They do not unlock arbitrary portraits.
