Noob Experiment Warzone Sandbox Mode
The practice space added 29 May 2026. Test kits here before you spend Screws or burn a badge run.
Sandbox Mode landed on 29 May 2026 as the practice space for Noob Experiment Warzone. It is not a Screw farm. It is not a badge run. It is a lab where you learn what a kit does before you buy it, before you queue Easy Mode, and before you waste a Boss Noob attempt on a unit you have never driven. This page is the operating manual for that lab.
What Sandbox is for
Sandbox gives you a private area to spawn Experiments, test cooldowns, and feel movement on every unit the shop has unlocked. If you just bought Dual Blaster Large Noob, go here before wave 15. If Guest Helicopter rockets feel wrong on Easy, go here before the finale. If you want to know whether Noob Mech landing spots are worth the hype, go here and find out.
Sandbox is not for farming Screws. Easy Mode is the 50-Screw payout. Do not replace a real clear with Sandbox retries.
What you can test in Sandbox
Kit feel. Movement speed, attack cadence, ability bar labels. Guest Helicopter has the only published card: 200 health, Really Fast, Rocket at 480 across four shots, Sacrifice, Backup. Everything else needs a live feel. Bring every unit you own.
Ability timing. The ability bar shows labels. Sandbox shows what those labels actually do. If you own Guest Helicopter, test Rocket, Backup, and Sacrifice in that order. Do not test Sacrifice first. It kills you on the published card.
Aim modes. Update 2 listed Weapon Aim Mode (auto, manual) and Flight Cancel as expected additions. After the 14 August rework, check settings for those toggles. Test both in Sandbox before a badge run.
VFX and performance. City plus a 10-player public lobby plus VFX can turn weak devices into slideshows. Sandbox is quiet. Test Potato Mode here before you decide it is missing from settings. See Potato Mode and Settings.
Map corners. City lanes are learnable in Sandbox. Practice holding a street angle against a Giant or a Titan before Easy Mode makes you choose under pressure.
What Sandbox cannot teach
Sandbox cannot simulate a full 20-wave clear with reward pressure. A kit that feels fine in the lab can feel different when four teammates are calling targets and rocketers are punishing clumps. After Sandbox, run one real Easy clear before you call a kit ready.
Sandbox also cannot confirm Medium Mode. The Accessibility Update window may add Medium inside Sandbox. Confirm your mode list. Sandbox alone will not invent a mode that is not there.
How to use Sandbox efficiently
- Enter with the unit you just bought or the unit you use least.
- Spawn the largest Experiment available. Watch how the kit handles height, width, and damage radius.
- Test the ability bar from left to right. Note cooldowns.
- If Aim Mode or Flight Cancel exists in settings, toggle both and note differences.
- Leave after ten minutes with three written observations: strength, weakness, City job.
- Do not stay longer. Sandbox is a lab, not a loop.
After Sandbox
Run Easy Mode with the kit. The first Easy run is still a test, not a farm. If the kit survives wave 15, it survives the finale. If it wipes at wave 8, Sandbox told you that already. Go back, buy the next legal skip, and repeat.
Sandbox is most useful for two moments: when you first unlock a new tier unit, and when a rework changes a kit you thought you knew. After the Combat Rework and the Guest Mech update, every player who owns those units should return to Sandbox for a fresh baseline.
The lab is open. Use it before the badge run, not instead of the badge run.

Quick answers for the current Roblox build.
When did Sandbox Mode release?
Sandbox Mode was added on 29 May 2026 as a practice space. Confirm it in your mode list after rejoining.
Does Sandbox give Screws or badges?
No. Easy Mode is the Screw payout and badge source. Sandbox is for kit practice only.
Can I test Medium Mode in Sandbox?
The Accessibility Update may add Medium tools inside Sandbox. Confirm the mode list first. Sandbox alone does not add a new campaign.
Should I use Potato Mode in Sandbox?
Yes. Test both high and potato presets in Sandbox so you know which one to use before a badge run.
